+1 for Smith Thompson. Very attentive and will respond for any alerts. Had Brinks (now ADT) and the one time something happened, they weren't proactive in handling the issue and thank God nothing bad happened. Just that one incident left a sour taste in my mouth and lost trust in their service.

We've had a very pleasant experience with Vivint over the past 4 years, but I doubt they will be any less expensive.

DFW Alarm is great. They sold out to ASG security a few months ago. I love them and I pay $18 per quarter. Yep you read that right. I had a horrible experience with Smith Thompson their CSR's are so rude!
