Hello,

My friend in Georgia told me that energy companies there offer 2 rates:
unregulated rate for regular customers
regulated rate for low income families

Are there electric companies in DFW that offer a lower rate for low income families?

Thanks,
Cathy

If you do a google search, you can find codes that also give special rates. My son did that and got a significant discount on his rate.

Be very careful about promotional rates. If you can get a fixed rate discounted do it. You will probably have to change after contract is up. Seems that in Texas they don't really value customers who stay with them and pay bills on time.
