My boyfriend and I would like to dress up fancy (like a cocktail or nice dress for me and a button up or polo with nice slacks for him) and go to a nice restaurant for our anniversary. Any of you guys know of restaraunts that are nice for these type of occasions? We just dont want to feel like the odd ones out in a casual setting lol Any answers will greatly be appreciated!

Yes, what's your budget? What do you enjoy? Dallas has some fantastic places.

My personal favorites are:
Nick and Sams - Probably the best steakhouse in Dallas
Neighborhood Services - Great restaurant, new American cuisine, and a great vibe
Victor Tangos - Tapas style food, great energy, and excellent food.

This time of year Ocean Prime is nice for a date night. Good food, live music and one of the better patios in Dallas. Expensive though.

Before anything else try:

1) Al Biernat's (Mom & Pop steakhouse, great atmosphere, amazing food quality, just outside Highland Park)
2) Fearing's (talented top chef Dean Fearing, great location at the Ritz Carlton)
3) The Mansion (how much more charming and authentically Dallas can you get?)

Neighborhood Services is great, but people wear jeans there. You don't want to feel over dressed.

Default Saint Emilion

While Dallas has many nice places for fine dining, go for a nice drive over to Ft. Worth to Saint Emilion. Very quaint setting, and classic French cuisine. I've dined at hundreds of places throughout the U.S., Canada and South America, and this one stands out for my tastes. Costs us around $100 for appetizers, Entree and dessert.

Then, hit the Cowtown Winery for some very tasty wines.

Welcome to Reata Restaurants : Fine Dining, Southwestern Restaurant, Texas Cuisine, Premium Steakhouse

It doesn't get any more Texan than this place! The setting in Fort Worth's downtown Sundance Square is lovely., and the food here is excellent. I often get the daily fish special, and my husband gets a steak. After dinner, adjourn to the rooftop bar and watch the sun set.
