Where do you guys buy your pool supplies from? Leslie's pool supplies sounds expensive. They have phos- free 3L bottle for $55 compared to the Plano pool supply store for $30. Even cheaper online. Is there any reason to stick with these specialty stores? I am newbie in pool maintanence, trying to figure out my options.

Check out a website called trouble free pools dot com. There is a thing called the bbb method that uses things you can buy at walmart or Home Depot to take care of your pool. I've been doing it that way for 5+ years. The only chemical I've ever bought at Leslie's is cyanuric acid.

We buy now almost everything for the pool especially the small material and even chemical via Amazon, it is far less expensive than any store, especially Leslie. If you really want a proper store , I don't remenber the name , but is at the north east corner of Custer and Spring Creek in Plano.

Thanks Souleiado. I think you are talking about Plano Pool Supplies.
