It says that students were arrested or issued citations, both on and OFF CAMPUS, meaning that they may NOT have been on campus when arrested. It says that the incidents may not have even been campus related.

When I googled both Vines and Williams, only the Vines arrests showed up. I googled Vines because I knew those arrests had made Channel 8 News.
why does the location of arrest matter ? on or off campus ? bottom line is "every high school in America has had its students arrested by the police"

if it was a kid with a homemade meth-lab in his bedroom, and he was arrested "off campus", does this make it any better ?

The OP was concerned with "My son is worried about gangs where he had experienced seeing them at South Grand Prairie High."

Gang violence or gang problems AT SCHOOL would most likely result in arrests made AT SCHOOL. I was trying to reassure the OP and his son, not go off on a tangent about student arrests in the whole continent of America. I mentioned Vines because the arrests had been in the local news and I didn't want the OP thinking that they had occurred at Williams.

The OP asked "We wanted to know if any if you have any positive/negative experience at Williams?" So, sticking to topic, do you have any positive/negative experience at Williams?
