The laws in Texas prevent housing bubbles. So don't worry about that. However, housing process can drop for other reasons, so it's never a sure thing.

The reason why I am worried is because I recently got good job in State Government. I am in big dilemma if I should leave this job and move for better quality of life (good weather, new house, less taxes, low cost of living etc). Is it really worth it? Will I regret if in recession jobs are less? If I have to move back for job will I be able to sell house for similar price or less? Because I will be bearing loss while selling my LI house now.....I don't want same thing to happen and keep loosing all my hard earned money again n again.......
