Hello

Regarding HOA's especially those in Coppell or Flower Mound, I am hearing that you are only "allowed" two cars to be parked at your house. What happens when we have a kid's birthday party ? Where does everybody park ? Or a Saturday BBQ ? Or a Thursday night prayer group meeting ?

Did I miss something ?

Thank You

HOAs and their enforcement vary from community to community, even within the cities of Flower Mound and Coppell. However, make sure to read the HOA regulations carefully, as that governs what the HOA CAN enforce at any point, even if they're not doing so at the moment.

In communities I've lived in, the limits on vehicles and street parking "generally" refer to cars parker for a prolonged period of time in the street, or residents using the street to park instead of their driveway or garage.

Most communities understand people have visitors from time to time, and this is generally fine. The only time I have seen people reported is for overnight street parking, or again, residents not parking in their garage / driveway.

I think you'll be fine for any social gathering, unless you're throwing some sort of debacherous rager out of place in your neighborhood.

But again, read the HOAs governing documents to ensure you can abide by them for the development you're interested in. Don't be one of those people complaining about the HOA after the fact when you didn't read the bylaws.
