I don't think the commute should be too bad, assuming you work a normal schedule. You will be traveling away from Dallas in the morning and toward it in the evening, the opposite of most rush hour commuters.

Please PM me on the daycare question. I live in Allen and can share my experiences on daycare with you. Please stay away from Kids R Kids. I can go into more detail in private but it was horrible. The whole watch your kids from work vis internet is great especially when they are mistreating your child and you actually see it.
