I live near Dallas.

Sometime after 4am this morning [Jan 27]
a huge bang.. explosion.. woke me up.

Later I called a friend who lives 100 miles
away [near Decatur] and he heard the
same bang at the same time... it woke
him up too !!

There were no storms in the area.

What was it ??

no one probably responded bc they've been sworn to secrecy by the air force or something, just like the stephenville UFO sightings..

I have not heard about anything in the news. There was some propane tank that exploded over in Arlington the other night but I highly doubt a propane tank THAT small would have been heard that far away.

I told my husband when the stuff in Stepenville happened it is God messing with us.

its more possible that you and ur friend were having the same dream then the fact that you would both hear the same explosion 100 miles apart.

just throwing it out there (endless posibilities)

Maybe its the spy satellite touching down early? Sorry, just kidding. Didn't hear a thing, but of course, I'm all the way in LA.

Probably the wind blowing something would be most logical. We are getting 30 mph winds with gust to 45.

Propane tanks come in all sizes...from the little one sized for your bbq grill to thousands of gallons...even traincar sized. So it could have been a propane tank.
