I kind of figured JCPenney was from the 1980s, because it does not have a big elevator. JCPenneys in the 70s all had huge elevators and usually a set of 2 elevators.

That explains why the Dillard's elevator looks so retro inside. It looks Titche's style.

Trust me it was NOT rebuilt! The store was heavily renovated. I remember when the store was converted from Foley's to Macy's in 2005.

AirportFan is apparently in their mid-20s based on other posts. so they'd have been younger than 10 and would be surprisingly observant about department store elevators.
