Dallas drivers insist on their right of way to the point that they are perfectly willing to have an accident instead of cooperating.

It's more effective to change lanes without signaling precisely because of the common reaction to not let one change lanes. As another poster pointed out, they will not give up their right of way.

The downside is that this can trigger road rage. And you have to be super careful.

Is there a sort of "non written" rule for which the first car in the lane you want to move to has to go first then the others might let you go?
Since I noticed that I put way more attention and i get on my side as soon as I can still sometimes you need to change your lane
Anyone who does this is an ahole.
You're not doing anything wrong.
It's aholes.

The other thing people do is tailgate to the point that there's no way you can change lanes bc there's no space between cars.
All aholes.

Why are you alerting the enemy to your plans? Rookie mistake.

I agree a million percent. Roundabouts = brilliant. Four way stops = asinine.

What is a Dallasite? If you're in Collin or Denton County the drivers are likely to be from another state or country.

Probably more due to the fact that roads are really only crowded during rush hour, so does you boss or spouse give you props or a raise for being kind to someone else in traffic or do they give you grief if you are late?
