Hello:

I have a porch that gets a lot of afternoon sun.
I want to install some kind of screen or filter to block out some sunlight, so I can enjoy sitting on my porch without getting sunburned, hahaha....

The picture shows the 2 brick pillars I want to install the screen on.

Any recommendations on what to get or stay away from?

Thanks!!

I have the same issue, but my arch is 20' high. What I did is set up an umbrella when needed. I was thinking about tall drapes made of sunbrella, but it can get pricey.

Second these - just put up two of them. Very easy installation. You can order through Amazon for a little cheaper price.
