Top Lenders in North DFW Area? (Frisco, Little Elm, 380 Corridor) (Justin: loans, home)

Hello all,

My wife and I are in the beginning process of purchasing a home in the north DFW area, but are unfamiliar with the lenders in this area. Are there any ones that stand out from the others? We already have a realtor, but want to make sure we get the best rates available as well. Are there company-specific fees to watch out for?

I got good service from quicken loans but I go through a broker. Their direct rates to consumers were rediculous when I looked few years ago.

Need to watch out is, a lender that has decent rates but also able to work fast enough to close. Seller generally wants to close as fast as possible while choosing buyers (yep, seller's market). I've come across one lender that promise certain rates but hide some fees and WORSE is during the processing, there's long delay of communication, which scared the crap of me if they are able to close in time.
