They don't mention what their fee schedule is for investment advice on their website

Will follow this thread.

I know dozens of people who use them for tax prep and 401k and personal investment.

Do you really know that many who use them for investment advice?
I am trying to decide if we need to look for less expensive advisor option...with some better suggestions..
My husband would be difficult to convince, though...he feels strong loyalty to one we have now...

I do, but they were not there by choice.
It was all through the company and so then they got a discount for other fees.

Now that we don't have them administering the 401k, I don't know if I should leave the funds there.

So I am waiting to see if anyone else here has an opinion before I move all my stuff to where my personal investments are.

Ok--I read info an their site and saw they managed company plans as well as individual investors...
Our wealth management side of our CPA firm (based in FTW) does company 401k stuff too...

Do you see people with BH now that you (I guess) have retired?

My delimma is that I think the fee we pay is not reflected in the value of the advice...
We do really no trading in our accounts...have mainly same investment profile in Roths, IRA, and taxable account...and now that my husband is retired, we are not injecting new money--

Just think we are a cash cow for this guy since we require no active management...and basically get nothing beyond a meeting once or twice a year to review...
He has not done an exceptional job in choosing funds/investments that have really grown our portfolio in the 10-11 years we have used him although he was good at tax advice...

Not retired.
We sold our company to a bigger one and they administer the 401k with someone else.
