What type of 'major cleaning' would you suggest prior to moving in to a (older) home? I'm thinking that while the Home is empty, it might be good to hire a professional cleaner to wipe down the home, bug bomb it, and maybe clean the ducts. Any other types of services I should consider?

Clean interior of cabinets and closets, take down vent covers and vacuum and reinstall. (I'm not a believer in duct cleaning). Spray wash the garage. Take down all light fixture covers and wash out. Clean ceiling fans really well, wipe down all mouldings and door frames, wash windows, deep scour all appliances.
