I'll be moving to Dallas for a year and would like to experience a cowboys game or two.

What are the best ways to get tickets? Is there a message board with ticket sales? Could I just go to a game and buy tickets at a good price from someone outside?

Thanks

Use ticketmaster... they have a map of the arena so you can decide where to buy.

Ticketmaster is the best way to go since its face value but just make sure you find out what day the tickets go on sale and be there as soon as they go on sale because all of the games sell out quick.

I believe all tickets were sold as season tickets for 2008. But ticketmaster has a site that links to season ticket holders selling their seats.

Ebay is actually the best place to find tickets. Wait until the last minute and you will get the tickets for a lot less.

Stubhub is also another GREAT site for sth's to sell tickets to games. I've bought and sold on stubhub and they are VERY EASY to navigate and use. Also good about guarantee's and making sure the tickets are what you paid for before paying the seller. Then they pay the seller promptly.

tiger04dmd - it's important to note that 2008 is the Cowboys LAST season in Texas Stadium. The new as yet unnamed stadium will began games in Fall of 09. Tickets to Cowboy games might be a little harder to come by this year. The fact that they went 13-3 last year will only make it harder. Although this town has many sports teams, it's clearly a football town and when the Cowboys are doing well, all else pales in comparison.

I thought they named that thing........ something like Jerry's Kingdom

I'd bet you can get PLENTY of tickets for the games in the new stadium but at a VERY HIGH price. They have yet to release the seat prices for upper level but the sales for PSL's for season ticket holders is not going well. For the grand sum of $30K-$115K you too can purchase a Personal Seat License. Then for the small sum of $368 (ballpark figure that I can remember) is the ticket prince for EACH seat for EACH game once you BUY the PSL. Parking is a bargain at $75 per game.

Tickets for sports, NFL, NBA, NHL, PGA, Baseball, Hockey more. Official Ticketmaster site

Is there a place to show you where the aisle is in reference to your seat?

the stadium charts I find out there only show you the row and sections but there isn't anything to show you where exaclty your seat is... ex. I would like to sit at the end of an aisle but have no way of knowing.

Can someone help?

Default Seating Chart for Texas Stadium

there seems to be 20-30 seats per row.
So use this for reference in case any one has the same question I did.
If you are facing the field seat #20/30 will be the end of the aisle on your right. This means that seat #1 for the next section will be on your left.

If you are in seats 8-15 you will be in the middle of the row.

hope this helps. go cowboys!
