We got about an inch of snow in Lancaster overnight after seeing nothing but rain on Thursday. It was just enough to coat the ground and make for a beautiful morning.

Here's how it looked out our front door this morning before school ... the snow has started to melt as the sun is trying to come out:

They let us go early from work yesterday. I left around 3:30 and took me an hour to get home! Usually it's about 25 min. But coming in this morning was dry all the way from my house in Grand Prairie, up the George Bush Turnpike, then off Luna to Royal Ln. Earlier this week was when we got the worst of it where I live.

By the looks of things now on this side of the world you can't even tell we had snow on the ground this morning. LOL!!!

I do love the golf course covered in snow though. Since you see SOOOO MUCH of the snow compared to the neighborhoods and all it really is soothing. There were some geese walking around the golf course this morning by the pond.

Yesterday 500+ cancellations at DFW, 0 at Love field.

I used to fly American all the time but have recently discovered Continental and prefer it.
