Hi,

Is 35 minute transit time sufficient at this airport?? One of our flights arrives at 8:55 and departs at 9:30 to Houston?

Thanks.

You'll be cutting it awfully close. It's a small airport and should take no longer than 5-10min to get from one end of the terminal to the other.

I wouldn't attempt it with kids in tow.

Your flight to Houston DEPARTS at 9:30 or BOARDS at 9:30?? Big difference. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to takeoff and usually the plane doors close 15 minutes before. If the Houston flight truly departs at 9:30 you are not allowing enough time to change planes. Take the 10am instead.

Is this a SW to SW connection purchased as a single through ticket? If so, this is not an unusual connection. While shorter than I would like, DAL is easy to navigate...Not even 10 minutes to walk from Gate 1 to Gate 20 for me (and I'm slow!). If your arriving flight is on time and people get off in a timely fashion, you might make it. But you will definitely forfeit your boarding position. You might want to try for a longer connection, especially if this the last flight of the day.

But are you sure it's not one of those "No Plane Change" connections? Flt #61 SFO > DAL > HOU seems to match your itinerary time-wise...

Thanks for the inputs. Its a 9:30 departure, not boarding. And its a "Change planes at DAL" from Southwest. I would look for a longer connection then.

I'm honestly surprised they would even offer this route with such a short connection time.
