Hello,

I have been using organic milk for my young kids. But it is very expensive. I heard Braums milk is cheaper option and close to organic milk. Is it true?

I put this question in this Dallas forum, because of braums milk available only in texas cities.

I would use unflavored soy milk. My grandkids love it and it has more calcium than cow's milk.

There’s very little difference between organic and regular milk except the price.

Soy can cause gas and some people’s GI system is sensitive to it.

Soy is TERRIBLE for you and can wreak havoc on the endocrine system. I would never let my children eat or drink that crap. It's just as bad as the hormone-ladden regular cows milk. There are a million better quality sources of calcium than milk - kale, white beans, almonds, oranges, etc.

OP, you'd have to do more research on Braum's milk. What makes it "close" to organic? Lower hormone levels?? I don't know & have never heard that. We are not milk drinkers except for almond milk for smoothies or coffee.

Do not use soy milk, especially if children are male. Soy is estrogenic and can impact testosterone.

I avoid Soy because I don't want to trash my T levels.

No, Braum's is just a more expensive regular milk with a brand halo from being sold at an ice cream shop.

Buy private label regular milk for kids. It's perfectly fine. If you want a less expensive organic milk, go to Aldi's.

If you need a less expensive organic milk, I highly recommend going to Central Market on Mondays for “magic moo” Mondays. You can buy 2 gallons of organic milk for $9 ($4.50/each).

We use Horizon whole milk. Probably one of the best out there.
