Hold good thoughts for, "Lucy". The outlook is no better than grim.

Terrible tragedy. But did Urseline not teach her to read and obey warning signs? She paid the ultimate price. I am sorry to sound heartless but it makes me so MAD when people with a bright future lose it due to their own actions. I am sure her family and friends are devastated.

I’m of two minds about this. But these kinds of things make me mad as well.
A). It’s a ringing tragedy anytime a young person dies needlessly. But I’m a risk taker at heart. But come on.

B). Apparently not only did they fail to heed very clear signage they hopped a fence.
We’ve visited Hawaii several times an seen all manner of abject stupidity people hanging off one of the bridges and the cliff sides near Hana, climbing down/standing over rock blowholes, weak swimmers swimming in confused seas, diving mistakes etc.

It’s amazing we don’t hear these stories more often.

Everyone does careless, silly, or dumb things. My husband and I have been to that very same place on Kauai although it wasn't closed off at the time. I think most of us are luckier than we know.

Was this on the news or something? How would we know about this? Google News Local makes no mention of it.

People get washed out to sea every day believe it or not, it's just rarely newsworthy.

There is no mention of her having any connection to Ursuline so I'm going to presume that Ed must have that information from something besides Dailymail?
