Slightly old news, but cannot tell you how excited I am about this. Drawings and plans are starting to come about, and this poor little area really needs it. When I moved to Dallas in 1989, this was a nice area. Also the intersection itself is tragic- what were they thinking? My soon-to-be 16 year old has been told to take Plano Rd or Greenville to go south and avoid this crazy interchange at all costs!

The link shown lacks of lot of context on the project. Interesting that something is being done that may look like the model (that you have to right click on to see).

I know. I had a hard time even finding THAT lousy info. I heard about it at the Collin Allred town hall thing, but have heard nothing since then. Guess it won't be starting anytime soon (??) UGH!

I guess I don't understand. It's just an ordinary bridge over the freeway, with eastbound and westbound service roads on the north and south sides of the freeway, just like hundreds of other freeway-surface street intersections in Dallas. Why all the angst and concern? As long as you understand that Audelia runs north-south and Skillman runs from southwest to northeast, you're good.

I can think of a lot of things that would be better to spend limited city and state money on.
