I need to send a small "thank you" gift to a family in Europe. I'd like it to be "Texan" but all I can think of is Texas salsa (too hard to mail) or Cowboys gear.

Any suggestions?

I was going to suggest a Greenberg smoked turkey but the Europe thing kills that idea.

How about Texas pecans, https://www.texaspecanco.com/index.p...ins.html?cat=8, or bluebonnet seeds and/or coffee table book about Texas.

What about a Texas tea towel? bluebonnet stationary?

If you told us more about the recipients we could probably offer more suggestions.

LOL about the turkey.

I don't know that much about them. They are family of 6; kids are ages 12 to 22. They are nicest people on the planet. We were in a sticky situation and they helped us out. They were so generous and hospitable and I just want to thank them somehow.

They are fluent in English.

I like the book idea actually, but keep the suggestions coming!

I have a friend who has a booth at an antique mall in FTW and she sells coat racks that mount on the wall with horseshoes and a Texas theme.

Texas magnets for the fridge.
Tea towels.
Salt & pepper or toothpick holder. Texas themed.
Some Texas dry rub /spices for meat.
Bluebonnet seeds.
Stationary. A small print they can frame. Or a small framed print.

Food, drink and other liquid items are always problematic sending to foreign countries. Even if the item is legal to send, there will most likely be several obscure rules and regulations to follow (both sides). Fines for doing even one small thing wrong can be high. Do careful research first before sending anything. And your heart is in the right place. Keep trying to do the right thing.
