Yes, of course. We all know this is true.

I haven't been to your area (rarely do I live the inner Dallas bubble), but I grew up in a Houston upscale suburb. What you describe reminds me of my hometown. Its funny, where I live nowadays has a higher average home value than even my home town-- but the people attracted to it tend to be more diverse, well traveled, intellectually curious...etc. Today, I live very near (like a street away) a very different socioeconomic area and my children go to school together with different backgrounds. Not that its perfect by any means...but I have decided that master planned neighborhoods are not for me. Too many people of the same background and interests.

Don't forget, you have to attend some type of contemporary church with some generic name such as Community... or Fellowship... etc..

Affluent suburbs somehow tend to attract people that want to self-segregate into homogenous all-conforming groups. These groups are not necessarily "white" or even "white acting". Many are for sure. But as we have seen often discussed in this forum, you also have entire subdivisions with just south asians. I suspect with affluence comes a certain freedom to buy where u want and hence make a conscious choice about who you want as a neighbor.

Poorer neighborhoods and dense urban areas are two instances where diversity happens not because of choice but by lack of it, so both are a safer bet if u want real diversity.

If you want to live in an affluent suburb you need to do your homework lest u end up buying in one of these monocultures - whether its entitled-white or little-India.

In general, Prosper is an extremely wealthy area, so this isn’t completely surprising. Just wondering if anyone else gets the same vibe or has had the same experience.
I would not describe Prosper as extremely wealthy, that fits more like Highland Park. There's 2 or 3 other suburbs which are higher wealth than Prosper.

BTW there's plenty of poor areas of Prosper and Celina you can easily move to if wanted. There's some really crappy houses from the 1950s right next to the Prosper Town Hall.
