Hi guys,

Prospective buyer in the area so excuse me if the question is a bit vague. I've read some good things about Rowlett area and it seems there's a bit of "Rowlett vs Rockwall."

Throughout my searching I see houses frequently being listed in Rowlett and many are pretty nice. Surprising amounts of Rowlett listings so naturally my jbtrerest piques.

When researching the town I get a few old threads here about Rowlett's questionable city management, disarray, higher water costs, etc.

Does anyone have any insight in this regard, if it's gotten better/worse since some of those (older if I remember) threads?

Just want to know if I should remove it from my searches or at least how I should consider the area in my wider research.

Biggest things for me in general is safety of any given community and how they are run.
