Hi,

I know this is clearly a minor issue but we have a neighbor who continually takes her dog's excrement and throws it in our trash can despite repeated requests to her that she not do it especially in this heat. It really stinks up our driveway and some of the back yard. We have her on video but is there any recourse we have to stop this? We are in the city of Dallas.

Thanks.

Outside of moving the can somewhere that can't be accessed (garage or in the yard), I don't think there's much you can do.

Take it out and put it on her front steps. Once she stepped in it a few times she might get the message.

Ah, "Ding Dong Ditch with a flaming bag of dog poo brings back memories of my youth.
I used to be quite the rascal.

If the can is in your driveway or anywhere on your property a "no tresspassing" sign may help.

Put up a “No Trespassing” sign if the garbage can is on your property. If she continues to use it that’s trespassing.

Does she not have her own trash can? Why is she putting it in yours? This is bizarre, and I'd probably move it to her doorstep.

Give it back to her, put it on her doorstep.
