My dog Larry has been wiping his butt on the grass and is leaving poop stains on the floor indoors. It seems as if he has a lot of excess excrement around his anus after he poops. I looked at the affected area and it seems as if it is swollen in that area. I dewormed him a month ago but am not ruling out worms.

He is an 11 year old American Eskimo/ beagle mix. I will take him to the vet but am wondering what may be wrong with him?

Thank you so much! This is probably his problem, I hadn't thought about that problem. I appreciate you help. I will be taking larry in this week to have it addressed.

Once it clear up ...if they are infected YOU can learn to do this job yourself! Easy to do but Very Smelly LOL Your vet will be happy to show you how..just ask!
