My Opinion

I wouldnt drive it or live near it. Can be dangerous, many trucks going fast , lots of lights, LOTS of traffic there. I beleive there is a part that they want to redo or something like that. I think they want to raise it up

A big developer is buying a bunch of lots in Dorchester, just south of Sherman. Before long, Lake Texoma will be a DFW amenity.

380 where it borders central/east Prosper is the only good stretch of it. Traffic moves fairly well and the section by the DNT is all brand new. Go further east to the McKinney side and there is so much retail built up along it now and so many traffic lights that it's a mess. Go further west and it drops down to 2 lanes and gets clogged as well.

Avoid having to use 380 to commute, and definitely avoid living in one of the big developments on 380.

A true fact since 1950.

I wouldn't live as far north as 380 unless you absolutely can't avoid it. At $450k, you should be able to find something, even if it's a bit of a fixer-upper as far south as Richardson. You'd be much closer to jobs.

Sad but true. The folks that buy those cheap houses in Dorchester are going to be in for a rude awakening when they realize how far they have to drive just to get groceries.

Avoid 380 and stay far far away from Prosper schools which are just glorified day care centers with not even one designation earned.

Only parents who don’t care to give their child the best education pick Prosper.

Greed trumps everything for these type of people.

you can compare Allen, to Frisco, Plano and I also included Prosper. Since people love to be cheapskates and FOMO into Prosper. Good, fast and cheap.

Pick 2 out of three. Prosper folks got FOMO for cheap and fast. Don’t expect good location, school or build quality for your cookie cutter McMansion.

Sacrifice your kids education so you can have a house. LMFAO. Dumb dumb McGees.

Numbers don’t lie, humans and their opinions do.

The big school has more distinct designations, better at closing the gap and has a similar school ranking. Stick with Frisco, Plano or Allen ISD.

Skip the rest of the trash around here and let others send their kids to those schools.

Not necessarily. It could be in Irving (Las Colinas) or any number of other areas. Businesses are spread throughout DFW.
