I want to take my kids to pick blueberries or peaches. I was told there was a place north of Mckinney. Is there? Let me know.

Where to find pick your own farms and orchards in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area of Texas for fruit, vegetables, pumpkins and Christmas trees.

Try this site. I know about one in Waxahatchie and there's suppose to be one near Canton. But this site mentions several others much closer.

Let me know how it works out. I'd love to pick me some fresh fruits if the drive isn't going to cost me more than the food!

We went to Blueberry Hill Farm in Edom a couple of weeks ago and got some great blueberries. We make a day of it - pick before lunch then go to the Shed restaurant for lunch...they have great pie.

On the way home, we detour to hwy 80 and stop at Ham's (just east of Terrell) to get peaches and anything else they may have. I got some great apricots. But they pick; not you.
