We are moving to FAR North Dallas (Right off the Tollway on Keller Springs) and have a 3 year old. She was registered for the Day School at our church & we couldn't have been more excited about it- then we found out we are moving to Dallas! So we had to call & give up our spot & I'm sure we've missed all the registeration dates for schools over there for this fall! I'm going back to school & taking night classes this semester since I don't have anywhere to send her during the day, but I'm hoping (praying) to find something (an open spot) in a good day school / mothers day out / something in Dec./Jan. I'm working on my teacher certification, so I have a few classes to take that require observation hours & that's my big concern! I don't have anywhere for her to go while I have to go observe! Of course, I also want her to have the interaction she's used to with other kids! She's been going to MDO two days a week.

Any ideas as far as dayschools, MDO programs, ANYTHING, would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

No rec's in your area, but I do have one to stay away from....I really wasn't impressed with North Dallas Montessori. Even though I was checking the place out for the next school year...the director kept pushing for me to enroll him now...4 months before the end of the year (to fill a vacant spot). Even if that "money is what matters" attitude wasn't obvious, it still would have been a "no"...it didn't seem clean, some classrooms had no windows, and there were way too many kids crying/ unhappy-looking. Bad sign!
Good luck with your search!
