Hi all, We are a young African American family relocating from Chicago to Dallas in November. My husband and I have 3 children (all girls) ages 10, 3, and 2 years old. We hoped to buy a home when we moved there but have some credit issues that will take a few months to clear up. So, in light of this minor set back we will have to rent for a while. We are considering either Plano or Frisco, and would like to be within walking distance of a good school. We are really want to live in a family friendly apartment community that features a park, pool, large outdoor play area either as amenities or very close by. Living in a building with many other families with children would be ideal since I am a stay at home mom, and my little one’s would benefit from having play mates close by and I would appreciate some adult conversation while my husband is at work! We would like to stay below 1500.00 per month Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Zip codes would be REALLY helpful as my entire search is currently being done on the internet.
