I've been looking at homes in Dallas (Preston Hollow, Bluffview, and Preston Trails). I really like the size of lots in Preston Trails but think it may be far from everything and not a great family oriented neighborhood (we have two kids under 2 yrs old).

Anybody have an opinion on Preston Trails? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Did you see this blurb about Preston Trails?
Preston Trail comes into its own | Dallas Real Estate News: Neighborhoods | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News

That dentist quoted in the article is my son's dentist and he has 4 kids although I think they are all college age or older. It's a nice neighborhood. I would bet most of the kids who live in there are private school kids. It's not exactly "way out there" really. Still city of Dallas, still inside the George Bush Tollway.

Thanks so much FAR NORTH DALLAS! This was a great article and very helpful. It sounds like the HOA has been very helpful in bringing together the community and making it a neighborhood. Any idea if there are a lot of younger kids?

You might just drive through it and see if there is any Kid Evidence. School signs out front, toys, basketball hoops.
