it really depends on what career you are in. I know a lot of places that have hiring freezes right now and more that have laid off. but...there are some companies that are hiring, it just depends.

Yes, the Jack in the Box near me has a sign saying they are hiring shift managers for $9.00/hr.

Just go to one of the job boards, I get emails all the time for so called jobs that match me. Fannie Mae is hiring in Dallas! I found that one interesting.
