We have both a costco and sam's club by us and was wondering if one is better than the other. Just joining for household use. Thanks.

Costco, without a doubt. Their house brand (Kirkland) merchandise has always been good.

I have a friend whose neighbor has a company that makes those big inflatable Christmas yard "ornaments" and, according to him, Costco's quality control for vendors is *much* tougher than Sam's.

Costco is cheaper and has more of a variety. I happened to let my Costco lapse and only use Sam's these days because Sams are all over the place and Costcos aren't.

Back in the 70s I use to take me sweetie to the Disco.
Now-a-days, we just go to the Costco.

Costco for sure. We had memberships at both and choose to give up the Sam's membership. You can return stuff months later at Costco, and if you don't have the receipt, they can look it up in the big computer. No questions asked.

Sam's is Walmart is Walgreen's. All part of the same.
We had both memberships for a bit. I found the basically same stuff for roughly the same price. I found CostCo's stuff had a bit extra, more gold plate, more volume.
Sam's hires a lot of elderly/retired folk. Most if not all part time = no health benefits.
