Hi, there! I'm trying to find a reasonably priced place to go for Mother's Day brunch. I thought we would go to the Gaylord, but that is $65/person plus $25 for kids. That is crazy expensive! Where could we go that would me more along the lines of $40/person? We will have 8 people in our party (4 adults and 4 kids - 7, 6, 4, and 1).
Thanks for your help!

Depending on what your in the mood for you might try one of the Master Grills around. They are a brazillian steak place similiar to Fogo de Cho and Texas de Brazil. We have one right here in Firewheel and I believe there are two more in the area. We went for Easter w/ the entire family (12) and were able to make a reservation. Their regular price is $25 but they have a lower fare for children 10 and under and a discount for senior citizens. Their pineapple is KILLER!!!!

Swiss Avenue Historic District 2010 Mother's Day Home Tour

A Mother's Day Champagne Brunch in Savage Park on Sunday from 11AM to 2PM will feature entertainment by Matt Tolentino & The Singapore Slingers, a big-band-era orchestra specializing in music written between 1900 and 1935. Brunch tickets are $20 per person and can be reserved by calling 214.701.3396.

The Slingers are awesome! I've been to see them several times. Matt is a very talented singer, conductor, musician and entertainer. I wonder where he gets that..

Both Chamberlain's restaurants in Addison (Steakhouse and Fish Market Grill) are having Mother's Day brunches - $38.00 per person, $17.50 for the kids - http://www.chamberlainsrestaurant.com/:

Menus:
Steakhouse - http://www.chamberlainsrestaurant.com/assets/Mothers%20Day%20Brunch%20Chamberlain's%20Steak%20a nd%20Chop%20House%202010.pdf (broken link)
Fish Market Grill - http://www.chefchamberlain.com/asset...ill%202010.pdf

Great food at both places

I'd also second Blue Mesa if you're interested in a buffet. They are under $20 (cheaper for the kids) for all you can eat, including mimosas and a nice dessert selection.
