We're looking for a good OBGYN recommendation between Dallas and Irving (UT SW preferred, but not mandatory)

Looking for an OBGYN who
1. does not rush through patients
2. has great bedside manners.
3. doesnt promote unnecessary c-sections.

thanks for your advice!

People here talk highly of WHA though I have no experience with it.

However, Dr Nahille Natour at 2021 Macarthur in Irving should be avoided. Wifey found the office staff extremely rude and incompetent (they refused to see her once when she was 5 minutes late).

Dr Stephen Hoffman in Irving is good.

When I lived in that area, I went to Dr. Shelley Ramos (she went by Shelley Bruce-Ramos back then. I guess the hyphenating gets old after a while )in Irving and delivered at Las Colinas Medical Center. It was my first baby, and she was just wonderful: TUSCAN OB-GYN ASSOCIATES

She has had a single pregnancy herself and she has had twins, so her personal experience with being a pregnant woman is very good! If we ever make it back to Dallas, I'm going back to her for sure.

At UT Southwestern I recommend Dr. Emily Hinton. She got married and she might have changed her name. I haven't run across her in awhile.

Dr. Dennis Factor at UTSW. I can't speak for his skills as an OB (He DID deliver ME 35+ years ago), but as a Gyn, he is very good.

She's not at UT Southwestern but I go to Dr. Amy Sigman at Medical City---972-566-7760---it's not that far to drive (I live in Coppell now) and she is really great. Up on all the latest and greatest and her office is a well oiled machine!! PS. They also have a 20 minute "grace period" for all your appts....so you can be 20 minutes late and still get in to see her. Don't know many docs that do that!
