Anyone know where to find a home from 140’s not to exceed 180’s in the McKinney or Frisco area. I know there won’t be too many options but though maybe in the tough market I might find some.

It must be single family home and can be resell, new build and or foreclosure. Thanks for the tips and advice!

There are A LOT of homes in your price range in both McKinney and Frisco, new construction as well as some foreclosures too. Now depending what you want in the home, it would narrow it a lot.

On realtor.com I did a search on "single family homes only " in McKinney with a price range of 140,000 to 180,000. I got 242 listings returned. 134 of them are 0-5 years of age.

Then, I used the same parameters for Frisco. I got 42 listings that are 0-5 years of age, and 114 total that include all ages of home.

Might not be too hard of a search?

Before I moved to McKinney in 2003, I looked at listings on realtor.com but you really need a real estate agent to help you find the best home. I found a very nice lady who was referred by others at work and we looked at 50 before we chose one. A good real estate agent will not pressure you and is willing to show you all the homes you need to see before making a decision. Also, if you did not have one it is almost impossible to go see a listing as you need the selling agent to come open the door. The agents cost to me as a buyer was zero and she helped us by answering all types of questions.
