I'm talking about 2 BIG dogs, each around 100lbs in weight. Any neighborhoods in a city area that you would recommend as dog-friendly with good places where we could take the dogs for walks every day?

Well there are a number of dog parks in the area...depends on what area of town you want to live in. The first dog park was the one by White Rock Lake I believe but most suburbs have one of their own by now. There's also an indoor dog park called "Unleashed." I've never been to it but I hear it's pretty good. That one is privately owned, though, so you'll have to pay to get in. Might be worth it in the cold winter months.

Then there are plenty of places to walk your dog outdoors. The Katy Trail in Dallas and the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano come to mind. I'm sure there are other places as well but those are a couple of the nicer ones. Then most neighborhoods with an elementary school will also have a park but there are leash laws that prevent you from letting your dog really run around.

White Rock has the oldest and largest dog park but there's another in Deep Ellum - also on Sundays you can take your dog to Lee Harvey's - 214-428-1555
