It's beautiful!! And real snowflakes! I feel like I am back home in the north east.
6" in Keller so far.

Roads (Keller area)... main roads are just really wet with slush on side and middle. Side roads have some slick spots but still pretty good.
Neighborhood has major snow and ruts...it was so fun to actually have to use the 4x4!
BUT...since there are no plows to clear all that slush...the neighborhood roads could be horrible in the AM if it freezes.

yea for snowmen and hot coco!

Default Update from Lancaster

We've received over six inches of snow in my neighborhood with moderate (and occasionally heavy) snow continuing to fall. The local schools have already canceled Friday classes.

I just took a walk around my neighborhood in Old East Dallas, there are a lot of Pine Trees that have broken branches from the weight of the snow. Some Oaks have also lost branches. There is about 6 inches on the grass and the side streets have about 5 inches of snow and slush....and the news says this is a record breaking snow.

It seems that the December snow was unexpected by them and this event was supposed to be 1-3...so they have been way off on their winter forecasts this season.

Anyone else seeing downed branches or powerlines?
