Will that Coach bag be real or fake? The Tahoe MUST have the drop-down or back of headrest dvd players/screens, leather seats, 100 disc CD changer, lighted vanity mirrors and that new feature from BMW and Lexus w/ the automatic parking (Oh heck, just get the Lexus or BMW SUV instead ). The Gym Membership MUST be at a gym that is "IN", has a Smoothie bar, childcare, pool w/ all the slides and lifeguards on duty to watch Jr. & Princess while Suburban Barbie is busy reading her trashy novel, sleeping by the pool and/or gossiping w/ friends, etc.

FYI: I live in Lake Highlands - the RISD sectrion. There's lots of homes here that have some character and are still affordable - lots of options starting around $230K or so. Many more options in the $280-300K range.

Oh I'm too cheap to hire it out. I mow my own grass. (But it's a nice bermuda.) On our block there is only one other home owner that mows his own, so we're more the exception, than the rule.

Well this week it'll be twice, but that breaks down into the front yard yesterday evening and the back yard this evening. Normally I only mow once a week. If it helps any, I used one of these...

You know me, I had to look into the claim on birth defects. The state did investigate the number of birth defect in the Midlotian area in 2005, reviewing data from 1997 - 2001.

Birth Defects Monitoring 2005 Report Summary
In response to a citizen request, the DSHS Texas Birth Defects registry completed a review of data in June 2005. They examined the occurrence of 48 specific types of birth defects among deliveries to residents of Midlothian, Venus, and Cedar Hill in 1997-2001.

An infant or fetus with more than one birth defect can be included in more than one category in the registry. In addition, not all birth defects are included in the 48 specific categories of the Texas Birth Defects Registry. Therefore, Texas also examined a 49th category called "any monitored birth defect". Every infant or fetus with any type of birth defect is counted once in the category "any monitored birth defect"; this category can also be thought of as all birth defects combined. The occurrence of the 48 types of birth defects and "any monitored birth defect" were not statistically significantly elevated in Venus or Cedar Hill. One type of birth defect related to urinary tract development (hypospadias or epispadias) was statistically significantly elevated in Midlothian, and remained significant after adjustment for sex, race/ethnicity, and age. The category "any monitored birth defect" was initially found to be statistically significantly elevated in Midlothian. After adjusting for maternal race/ethnicity, the prevalence of "any monitored birth defect" decreased, and was no longer statistically significantly elevated. This indicates that the initial elevation observed can be attributed to differences in the race/ethnic distribution of women having children in Midlothian as compared to Texas overall.

The Texas Department of State Health Services will reexamine the occurrence of hypospadias or epispadias after subsequent delivery years are completed in the Texas Birth Defects Registry.

Hypospadias is a birth defect of the urethra in the male that involves an abnormally placed urethral meatus (opening). Instead of opening at the tip of the ***** of the penis, a hypospadic urethra opens anywhere along a line (the urethral groove) running from the tip along the underside (ventral aspect) of the shaft to the junction of the penis and ******* or perineum. Incidence

Although a slight worldwide increase in hypospadias was reported in the 1980s, studies in different countries and regions have yielded conflicting results and some registries have reported decreases.

Finally I gathered this data from TXHD Birth Defect Query System - Counties. Notice that 1999 was a high years, but for 2001 Ellis county had the lowest rate of hypospadias in the Metroplex. Over the four year period, you'll see that Hunt county had an amost identical rate with Parker county close behind.
