there are probably plenty of homes less than 5 yrs old on market with those attributes--
is there any reason you favor a NEW vs RESALE home
most people usually say/believe that there is better deal to be made with resale home --especially in this market

In either case, consider Murphy. :-)

No reason new vs old, but i've visited a couple of times and my realtor at the time could not find anything with all of my wants.
Either the interior was perfect and the yard was non existent or yard was great and only a game room not media room
The ones I looked at I would even consider the bathrooms and kitchens needed to be gutted.
On top of the home being outside of my want area as well.

Murphy is too far out. Say if I wanted to resell there will be a dozen homes going up in that area in time.
Once the economy picks up, Plano and Dallas would appreciate faster then Murphy, Sachse, Garland, Mckinney, etc

There is a new development in east Plano close to Jupiter and Sprink Creek. The lots are 80 X 125 and some lots are as deep as 150'. I have listed 4 homes for this builder right now. You can get a pretty decked out home around 3800SF around or below 330K.

They purchased the land from another builder that shut down so that is why they are able to keep their prices low. There is also a very limited number of lots, it will sell out by this summer.

What is the name of this builder and how do I view the plans online? I'd also like to know where so I can map the area. Does this builder put in pools as well?

The builder is First Texas Homes. This builder doesn't build pools but there is a community pool too. Honestly, you don't want to have a builder put your pool in because you would be very limited on the design and wouldn't have much control. You can however do an escrow so it can get financed with the home but the pool will be built after the home is completed and you closed on it.

Thanks, i'll look into them and contact you back for more help....do you have a connection with them?
I'll take that into consideration when building pools, its my home and will be my control or I won't accept less. I only want a lap pool but decent size, I hate those play pools in some yards...total redo.

Nice builder though nothing in North Dallas, seems to be in Plano as other areas are not in my interest.
If the lots are nice in the back and the area is good, this builder seems to have what I like for a good price.
Do you know of any incentives they have?
