I haven't seen any in the area of Collin County. Would love to know where a good patch is to take my kids to. Thanks

just remember that rattlesnakes love to lie under bluebonnets in the shade and catch critters...

It's still a little early, so give it another week. I saw some today on the side of 635 near Greenville Ave.

Keep an eye out...you will see then all over soon...it's still early yet.

Check out DFW Area Moms (you will have to register (it's free), but there is tons of great info for moms on that site) ...they always have a good "where are the best bluebonnets this year" thread going.

It's been a very late bloom this year because of the amount of snow we've had. The southern part of DFW is seeing a lot of them otherwise, within the next couple of week, we'll start seeing more around us.

I always see quite a few in the grassy areas alongside 121/144 near the airport.

I had a family outing this weekend to Limestone Country (Central Texas along I-45 South) and the place was flush with Bluebonnets. Beautiful !

I always think about these people sending their little kids in the blue bonnets to take pictures not even thinking a snake could be in there. I would at least walk the area first and check for anything in there
