IMO "Chase" is the best new series on TV this Fall. I would highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it yet. Like I said on another thread, it has an almost motion picture-like quality to it. Jerry Bruckheimer has an incredible amount of money to spend so that probably helps...lol.

Chase is just glossy version of the US Marshall show In Plain Sight from USA--
I really liked In Plain Sight until this past season--the creator left and the production quality just went down the tubes--
have not watched Chase except for promos but frankly I am not really impressed with the female lead--no charisma
most of the reviews on IMDB are pretty negative but NBC has already cancelled Lone Star--they can't do that with every new show they put out there
Jeffrey Zucker has lot to answer for...

While the Real Housewives series is kinda trashy and they get pretty classless. Dallas Divas is in a WHOLE NOTHER spectrum of classless and trash.

I like Chase, watched a couple of episodes. The lead is pretty dead-pan, very matter-of fact, almost to the level of Sgt Friday of the 60's Dragnet, but it's great when she sticks it to the perp. I'll keep watching. Lonestar OTOH, I can see why it was cancelled, and not just from the time slot. The characters are just not that interesting to me, or the story line. Having been a petroleum geologist I thought I would watch it a few times to see how what it was like, but it was like Doctors watching, doctor shows.

surely you did not think to actually get any "professional" content in Lone Star--
my husband watched one show partway through of the series about the rig workers on a cable channel a year or so ago and he was just totally turned off...

I never did see that rig hands show. That might have been interesting.
