Hmmm I live in Trotwood,oh and I just found out that more local business are leaving. I think the tax rate here in this area dayton is crazy already & when they leave I bet homeowners here is going to pick up the tab.
I see this as chance to relocate to an different area of the country and see what is out there.
I did consider to goto columbus or cinn, that would be an upgrade to real I live now,lol.. But I will be an brave vagabond and search other states.
Should be leaving the beginning of the new year.

Get some good pictures in your mind when you go and frame them. Make sure you bring them back if you return. Part of my family has lived in Trotwood for a very long time. I have high hopes it can be restored and built upon. I got married there in my great grandmas backyard. The nicest little Irish people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I say little, both were only about five feet tall. My grandpa was a blind man, but his character would set anyone right at ease. My grandma was crippled with arthritis and was suppose to die long before she ever did. She held on about twenty more years longer than they said she would. They sang beautiful songs at church. Something I will never forget. They were the ones that had me baptized in a river. I remember the blacktop driveway, my uncles classic cars, the flowering trees, the soft green grass and hot sunny summers. And the big family Thanksgivings too. Every time we went to see my grandpa he would give us a dollar. They weren't wealthy, but dang if they didn't have one of the most wholesome spirits i've ever been around. I could never forget Trotwood.

Well, since I don't like Florida, I'll recommend Austin Texas for you. I would actually check it out myself, but I'm not a fan of hot weather as it is, and I know I would have a lot more of it down there than I do here in West Chester. I've heard Austin is really pretty, with a relatively low cost of living, and it's a hip place to be. Something to consider.
