Anybody have word on Jamie Simpson? There's flap that he "might be off the wagon". Last time on air was in February.

Can't say that I have any pity for 22/45. They knew damn well what his history was when they hired him. Of course, it's a Sinclair station, that says volumes

So, whio goofed yesterday with that part 2 of the cyberstalking report. A whii employee, and Gabrielle Enright were 2 of the victims. Victim 3 had a blurred image on the initial report, but apparently it was Rich Wirdzek

It kinda explains why Rich got the hell out of dodge. That, and the fact they didn't make him chief meteorologist

Probably a scammer with a fake profile, can’t be too careful on any dating sites with all the scammers out there.

I remember when Phil Donahue's daytime talk show came from Dayton. It was around 1967 or 1968. I was living in Muncie, Indiana and it came on in the morning and we watch it on an Indianapolis tv station, WLWI, which was connected to WLW out of Cincinatti. His was like the very 1st talk show that I knew of where they talked intelligently about actual controversial topics that was going on in the United States at the time, and the audience got to ask questions.

It was done all in a respectful manner, unlike today where people talk loud and hurl insults at one another, and basically trash talk, say and do anything to get on camera, no matter how ridiculous they look.

Much of the Crosley/Avco TV programs came from WLW-T in Cincinnati. However, prior to Phil Donahue, the Johnny Gilbert Show originated from WLW-D. Gilbert had been on network TV, but he was able to be brought in to host his own show there which was also shown over the other affiliates in Cincinnati, Columbus and (as noted) Indianapolis. Now still active at the age of 95, Johnny is the announcer on the TV show Jeopardy.
