I work in the OR as a surgical tech. I am moving here from Texas and am starting to look for a job. I like word of mouth info. Where are the good places to work and which ones should I stay away from? It's easy when you already live in that city to get good info from peers but REALLY hard to know where to go when you don't live there. Which systems treat their employees well? Which have good pay? Which ones have robotics ( Love them!) Which has an unfair director? Which ones don't have cliques that treat you bad...ETC....I have 20yrs exp. and have worked in 5 OR's so I just thought I would try networking this way instead of finding out I don't like it after I've already gone thru tedious orientation, interviews, etc. This will give me a headstart. Thank you so much for your input.

Not sure about much of this, but I do know that Miami Vally Hospital, which is part of Premier Health Partners, performs robotic procedures.
