Thanks! I ordered the bbq flavored bar. Very interested to try these more savory flavors. I probably wouldn't pay for one if I saw in the grocery store today, but we'll see if this trial run convinces me otherwise.
Mine just came yesterday. I haven't tried it- saving it for my grand kids.
"everything bagel"
not sure how it will be, but they do generally make a very good product.
Thank you for posting this however I am not happy with general Mills
I accept the General Mills Privacy Policy and agree to the Terms and Conditions, the Shipping and Returns policies. I also understand that Nature Valley may send me emails relating to this specific Free Bar promotion
If you didn't check the box then you wouldn't get the bar in other words "You got to let us bother you to get free stuff"
Yeah I'll probably put any email they send me into my spam box but still it doesn't need to be done that way
Mine came yesterday. I'll probably eat it sometime this weekend and will report back.
I just ate some of the granola bar. It was . . . different. Ingredient list includes roasted peanuts, rice flour, maltodextrin, sunflower seeds, sugar, canola oil, salt, soy lecithin, barley malt extract, tomato powder, molasses, onion powder, modified corn starch, garlic powder, yeast extract, spice, vinegar solids, natural flavor, natural smoke flavor (contains soy ingredients).
The bar tasted different when I first started eating it, and not in a particularly good way. Not in a bad way either per se, but just in a different way as in I wasn't expecting that flavor profile. Once things settled, however, the bar started to grow on me somewhat, and I could see it potentially being a substitute or complement for/to a meal. I only ate about a third of the bar (almost bedtime here), but I'm going to save the rest and finish it tomorrow (not a bad sign).
Still too early to say whether this would be a regular thing for me, but it's a lot different than I was expecting. And I'm not completely turned off by it.
Thanks for the review Prospect, the thought of a a savory granola bar doesn't seem appealing, even if it's free.
Mayvenne, thank you for Posting this offer, for a try to be, frugal shopper.
