Good morning freebie friends! I hope you are fine this morning!
I had a terrible night, couldn't sleep, now I'm exhausted - fortunately I don't work. I guess I'll just have a quiet day, looking and waiting for freebies

Same here but I had to get up and go get routine blood work done ( fasting) and got over to the lab with ....NO PAPER WORK!! I left it on the counter by the coffee pot this morning! Duh..fasting.. no coffee. Good thing for me the doctor's office faxed a new request for me.

Off to enjoy my first cup now!

Argh, I hate the 1st 2 weeks going back to college. I'm not able to sleep more than 4 hours per night, my head just wants to play more XBOX, read another hour or watch another movie. I even forgot my calculator today and I had a quiz. Thank god I was there early and had time to buy another one... duh! LOL

Now I'm going for my big 2nd cup of strong coffee. http://www.frogueros.com/images/smilies/rock.gif (broken link)

I'll take my dogs to the vet today. One of them has a weird mass near the belly and I'm so worried. Hopefully it's nothing serious

When I graduated from college I swore I would never go back to school. All I wanted was a washer, dryer and job. Mainly, I'm just too lazy unless it is a fun course like guitar or a foreign language. I did return for a course in parliamentary procedure. Most of my friends thought I was nuts but it has come in handy from time to time.....not since I have retired, though. Oh, yeah, I also took a course in Farsi. I already knew the basics from a military family experience in the early 60s but I was the only non-native-speaker in the class and everyone (and I do mean everyone) took pity on me and helped me a lot. I can cuss really well in Farsi. ROFL.

Congrats to you, DFWgal. You are following your dream.

I hope your pup is just fine and I bet he/she is. Let us know, okay?

Oh for my part I'd love it so much, going back to college and learn lots of new things! Especially now that I have time and could be taking classes here in the US - the only things are: 1 I can't afford it, 2: I don't want to take exams and get a new degree, I'd just love to attend classes. This thing is possible in France, obviously not here unfortunately. And I'm not interested in those evening courses open to everyone, that's not the type of courses I'm interested in... *sad*
Fortunately there was that thread the other day about free courses from the MIT, I'm definitely going to take a look at that - but it's not quite the same as being in a classroom
Call me crazy!
