We have seen both properties offerings and have one question relative to both. Is there wiggle room on the "price" or do they stick to the quoted price? We obviously are looking at a newly built model as opposed to second ownership. If say the starting price is $433,990 for the Bornquist, is that the actual starting price?

Our problem is that there are features (like columns) we may not want but they are offering incentives valued at say $60,000 that we really are not looking for, but may consider, Are we caught in the web of advertising?

How hungry are these communities to sell now? I would rather eliminate some of the basics, like columns that I don't want and add the features that I do, but then am I actually getting sucked into the vortex of paying up for less?

I don't know much about either of the above, but I'm told it's still a buyer's market. They should adjust to suit your needs though...well, at least they should if they want to sell.
