Hi everyone, I bought a house in Ocean View several yrs ago. Finally getting ready to retire there the end of February. Some questions for people of the forum. I need to find a general physician, optometrist any recommendations. Going to bundle my insurance any insurance agents recommended? I need of Internet don't want a smart phone because of eyesight issues. Don't want cable just simple Internet. Recommendations for bulk foods and finally want to start a garden I'm a vegetarian and on a limited budget any idea and suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks Greg

Hi! I lived in Ocean View and have had Mediacom as my high speed internet provider. I had Verizon before that, but I was not impressed. Service could be intermittent and slow at times.

My family doctor is Danielle Giddins right in Millville. She's a "younger" doctor (mid 30's?), and I am very pleased with her and her staff. We also use Halpern Eye Care in Millville--no issues although I only go every few years.

We use State Farm--the offices in Ocean View and Selbyville and we're pleased with both.

You should not have any issues with gardening here, although squash don't seem to like growing in my backyard for some reason. Cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers do well though...at least for me. Hope this helps!
