Anti-lewdness campaign nets 12 arrests near Lewes - CapeGazette.com - Covering Delaware's Cape Region - Inland Bays, Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Milton, Dewey Beach, USA

I know many here enjoy the trail so I thought I would pass this on. Years ago there was a similar problem in the restrooms of the Rehoboth Mall. I believe this actually contributed to the decline of the Mall.

Sounds like what we called " 'more-than-just-Friendship' Park", near BWI Airport.

The county turned it into a golf driving range, thus eliminating the trysting spots.

Longneckone.....I heard that about the Rehoboth Mall as well...and yes, the bathroom rendezvous stories were true.

I was informed about prostitutes (both male and female) hanging out in the same Wolfe Neck parking lot last year.....so I made sure I always stayed on the main trail and never ran up that particular entrance. I have not been able to run the trail since March due to injury, but I'll be back on it this fall and hope all the nonsense has been discontinued. There is a time and place for everything, and a highly trafficked public trail is neither the time nor the place.

For what it's worth, I've been on that trail and in that parking lot 3 times in the past year, in daylight, and never saw anything remotely fishy. We were walking, as opposed to the biking and jogging that most people use it for, so were better able to observe (did see a very large hawk grooming itself on a low tree branch, mere feet away, last time!). I don't think people need to avoid it. It must be happening at night.

I've never seen anything either (and have run the trail alone), but I was also avoiding the Wolfe Neck part of the trail due to prostitutes. Either way, glad that DSP is handling it and making the trail safe for us.

Female prostitution is degrading and outright disgusting, on that note, what trails should I avoid? Just in case I'm in the area.
